Ordering Timetable
Making your wedding invitations typically take about two weeks.
Since most agree that the invitations should be mailed at least six weeks prior to the ceremony, one should place the order at least eight weeks prior to the ceremony if not sooner.
It is not untypical to order wedding invitations 3 or 4 months in advance. This allows plenty of time for proofs and corrections.
One must also allow time for a calligrapher to address the envelopes.
